Gymnastics is a sport that includes physical exercises requiring balance, strength, flexibility, agility, coordination, dedication, and endurance. The movements involved in gymnastics contribute to the development of the arms, legs, shoulders, back, chest, and abdominal muscle groups.
Class Etiquette:
Female dancers must have their hair pulled back away from the face and secured neatly into a ponytail.
Gymnasts may not wear jewelry, other than pierced ear studs during training.
You must be courteous, respectful, and polite to all officials, hosts, teachers, and coaches. It’s important to be on your best behavior. Encourage and compliment other gymnasts and your teammates.

What to Expect in Class
Barre Work: You will start holding onto a wooden or portable barre for balance while practicing foundational movements like pliés (knee bends) and tendus (foot stretches).
Center Practice: You will move away from the barre to practice simple coordination, balance, and graceful walking or turning sequences.
Attire: Most adult classes do not require a strict uniform; comfortable activewear or fitted dancewear with ballet slippers or socks works best.
